Watch our Orientation Video!

This video is the first step to becoming a volunteer with the SPCA of Northern Nevada. It’s required to watch prior to volunteering with us, whether you’re interested in socializing cats, playing with dogs, or helping out with events or at our front desk. It’s an introduction to who we are, what we do, and how crucial your role as a volunteer is to our operations. Get to know us and start the process of becoming a life saving volunteer.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the SPCA of Northern Nevada. Our organization runs on volunteers – we couldn’t operate without you!

To become a volunteer with the SPCA, an orientation is required. This orientation is for the safety of volunteers and the pets in the adoption center, and will help you learn your way around the center. Training is held periodically throughout the month. To sign up for an orientation, and to get started with the SPCA, please click here and fill out a registration form. After you fill in the registration form, you will be able to register yourself for an orientation.
