Spring Into Saving Lives MATCH Fundraiser Continues Until Sunday, May 21st

We are a local nonprofit organization, and do not receive funding or financial support from government agencies or national organizations, nor are we affiliated with any other SPCAs.

Rural rescues and lifesaving transfers to support our community shelter partners are some of the many ways your gift helps local homeless pets.

This past Friday, May 12th, SPCA of Northern Nevada once again visited our dedicated partners at Washoe County Regional Animal Services (WCRAS). Increasingly in recent months, WCRAS has found themselves at capacity and out of room due to the growing population of homeless pets in our community. Our team continues to help our local (as well as rural) shelter partners during this time of crisis in animal welfare. Adoption demand is down, and the number of homeless pets is up.

This is just one of the many critical ways we help save the lives of animals in northern Nevada. We transfer pets from local shelters and rural rescues to our Adoption Center to help them find loving homes as quickly as possible. All thanks to your ongoing financial support!
