Animal Caregiver I
This position supports Adoption Center operations by keeping animal areas clean, organizing supplies, preparing meals, and more. While this position does not involve animal handling, opportunities for advancement within our organization are available. We are looking for individuals who want to learn fact-based knowledge about pets and grow with us!

- Passionate about animals, cleaning, feeding, and giving daily doses of love and enrichment. Understanding of animal behavior and health care is a plus.
- A strong team player who knows how to work independently.
- Efficient in prioritizing and managing time, and thrives on bringing order to chaos.
- Detail-oriented with attention to detail is critical for this position as our animals depend on you to follow very specific protocols exactly.
- Excellent with verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to communicate effectively and specifically with co-workers, volunteers, and the public.
- Able to work holidays and weekends because our animals require daily care and enrichment.
- Punctual and reliable because our animals and team are depending on you!
- Able to lift and carry 50 pounds unassisted. This is a physically demanding job with lots of motion throughout the day.
- Mature with emotional regulation and good judgement, and demonstrates a professional personal appearance.
Job Type: Full Time $15-$17/hour
