Licensed Veterinary Technician

Your Role:

As a vital member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Using Fear Free techniques for handling during exams, blood draws, and radiographs (training provided).
  • Delivering exceptional care to our patients throughout surgical procedures, from preparation to anesthetic monitoring and recovery.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of instruments, equipment, and facilities, maintaining a hygienic and organized environment.
  • Collaborating with the team to maintain well-stocked clinic and surgical suites for efficient operations.
  • Administering medications, conducting x-rays, and collecting various samples for analysis.
  • Engaging with foster parents, owners, and new adopters, providing crucial information and support.
  • Assisting with tasks like running blood work, entering surgery notes, and preparing medications for post-operative care.
  • Treatments for hospitalized/sick patients including IV fluid therapy, medication administration, vital monitoring, etc.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have minimum one year of clinical experience
  • Current Nevada Veterinary Technician License

Pay is DOE, starts at $22/hour
