At SPCA of Northern Nevada, every pet’s success story is more than one lucky moment. It’s a series of intentional acts and programs created to save and improve their lives — and it depends on your generous support.
Lifesaving transports bring pets into our care, where they are medically treated, spayed/neutered, socialized, assessed, and loved until thoughtfully placed in loving homes and supported beyond adoption.
Pets already in loving homes across northern Nevada are supported through affordable community programs, including training and behavioral support, humane education for pet parents, spay/neuter services, assistance with veterinary costs, vaccines, microchips, and more!
Each program plays a vital role in saving and improving the lives of pets and people.

The cost of saving homeless pets is increasing. Our community pet programs cost more to provide. We are committed to keeping adoption fees and services affordable, and we rely on your support to do it.
During our Spring into Saving Lives fundraiser, your gift will go TWICE as far to help pets in need. From May 1 through May 31, every gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $60,000.

We need $120,000 to rescue, care for, and fix the next 200 homeless pets and keep our adoption fees low or free.* Your gifts also support our affordable community services, as more of our neighbors depend on them to keep their beloved pets.
*We waive adoption fees whenever possible, including for seniors, veterans, active military, Nevada teachers, and special pets who have been unfairly overlooked!
