March 5, 2019 (Reno, NV) – The SPCA of Northern Nevada (SPCA) is thrilled to announce its preferred training partnership with Canine Rehabilitation Center and Sanctuary (CRCS), a 501(c)3 non-profit that focuses on the rescue, recovery, and placement of at-risk dogs in the Reno community.

All dogs adopted from the SPCA of Northern Nevada are eligible for 15% off all classes and services.

“CRCS fills an important, life-saving need within our community. They are committed to helping dogs recover from unimaginable circumstances after the rest of the world has given up on them. This partnership is a significant step in expanding our community’s capacity to save the lives of homeless pets.”

— Jill Dobbs, Executive Director at the SPCA of Northern Nevada

CRCS classes offer people the opportunity to better understand canine communication, sources of aggression, and canine anxiety and reactivity. Training services include behavior consultation, intensive training, and one-on-one training. Group training classes include a loose leash walking class and an improved recall and boundary training course.

“Our mission is to inspire and educate humans so that they know they have a place to go for information and help,” said Kristen Ivey, founder/executive director of the Canine Rehabilitation Center and Sanctuary. “We hope this partnership inspires people to give more homeless dogs the chance they deserve.”
