(Reno, NV) – The SPCA of Northern Nevada (SPCA) welcomes Sauerkraut the celebrity feline for a public meet and greet. Sauerkraut has been featured on Animal Planet, BuzzFeed.com, CMM, people.com, time.com, other media outlets in seven different countries, and has more than 44 thousand followers on social media. Sauerkraut, who hails from Oklahoma, will be traveling across the Southwest in June, visiting Roswell, Flagstaff, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, Denver and Reno, NV. The goal of Sauerkraut’s visits are to work with local shelters and animal welfare groups, raising funds and educating the public. She wants people to understand that special needs cats and dogs can make wonderful life-long companions. Sauerkraut will be visiting the SPCA Tuesday, June 9, from 5pm-7pm. The SPCA is located at 4950 Spectrum Blvd., in Reno. This is a free event, however, donations to the SPCA are highly appreciated.’
