March 10 – Reno Art Works Gallery Opening. Reno Art Works is hosting a month long fundraiser for the SPCA of Northern Nevada! 15% of all art sold during March will be donated to save the lives of homeless pets.
March 19th – Adoption Center closed for staff training.
March 20th – Adoption Center will open a bit late at 12:30 pm (instead of at 11 am) for staff training.
March 22nd – “Saving a Life” Join the SPCA of Northern Nevada, Mendive Middle School, and Depoali Middle School on Nevada’s Big Give at Mendive’s Adoption Event. This incredible event is being organized and promoted by the students in Mr. McCarthy’s ELA class at Mendive. From the inspiration for the event, to the posters, marketing materials, press releases and beyond, these motivated students are taking charge and making a huge impact in our community. Even if you aren’t in the market for a new pet, we hope you’ll stop by and meet the incredible students who are organizing this event for homeless pets!
March 27th – (Hum)Animal at TMCC. The SPCA of Northern Nevada will be tabling at this informative talk in the morning. We will be bringing a couple of rescue pets to campus where people can socialize with the pets and learn about pet rescue and animal welfare. Come see us from 8-9:30 am.
March 28th – First Family Estate Planning Series – The SPCA of Northern Nevada is part of a free 8 week long Family Estate Planning Series. Each week will offer a free seminar from either 10:30 am to 12 pm or from 1:30 pm to 3 pm at the Sierra View Library in the Reno Town Mall (4001 s. Virginia Street).
