We are looking for a strong leader with veterinary experience to lead our Pawspital team to success as our Clinic Supervisor.

Your Role:
In around 30 days:
You will learn the ropes of the daily SPCA-NN clinic routine. You’ll deliver extraordinary care to our patients throughout surgical procedures, from preparation to monitoring and recovery. You’ll learn and implement Fear Free techniques for handling during exams, blood draws, and radiographs. You’ll maintain a hygienic and organized environment and supplies. You’ll administer medications, conduct x-rays, collect various samples for analysis, enter notes, and engage with foster parents, owners, and new adopters to provide crucial information and support.
In around 60 days:
You will add on some project and task management supervisory duties, such as inventory and supplies management, while participating in valuable professional development trainings to prepare you to lead the team.
In around 90 days:
You will add on some people management supervisory duties, building trust and rapport with each of your team members and learning from our library of resources and existing management team.
Beyond 90 days:
You will maximize SPCA-NN clinic’s quality of and capacity for veterinary care by focusing on team leadership. You will use the myriad tools and approaches you learned in your first 90 days to guide the team to success, develop improvements and efficiencies, ensure compliance with protocols, and solve problems.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have minimum one year of clinical experience.
- Current Nevada Veterinary Technician License a big plus, but not required.
- Dedication to animal welfare and commitment to providing excellent care.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Leadership experience is preferred, though we will consider any candidate who demonstrates a growth mindset, positive outlook, and high emotional intelligence.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
