Casie grew up in Northern Iowa and relocated to Reno in 2011 after traveling the West Coast and falling in love with the Reno-Tahoe area. While living in the Midwest, she learned about many of the challenges associated with animal agriculture and became passionate about advocating for animal welfare and being on the right side of animal rights.
She loves working for SPCA of Northern Nevada because it aligns closely with her values. Casie has a deep love for all animals, sustainability, and low-waste practices. She is passionate about making the most of what the community generously provides and turning those contributions into meaningful support for both pets and people in need.
The support from the Reno community continues to inspire her, and she is proud to be part of a lifesaving mission that makes a difference every day.
