Allison’s family moved to Reno, Nevada, shortly after she was born. As the youngest of four siblings with three older brothers, she spent her childhood exploring the outdoors and caring for a wide variety of pets in her family home.
She recently graduated from Truckee Meadows Community College and is continuing her education as she pursues a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
Allison developed a passion for animals at a young age thanks to her family and was drawn to the SPCA of Northern Nevada because of its community outreach programs for pet owners, commitment to sustainability, and strong leadership. Through her work with the organization, she has developed valuable management and business skills and takes pride in contributing to its mission.
When she’s not working, Allison enjoys exploring scenic views and waterfalls, swimming, biking, and reading — often alongside her beloved cats and Chiweenie.
