A message from our Executive Director

I want to take a moment to celebrate another incredible year of our team and supporters coming together to save and improve the lives of pets in northern Nevada and beyond. While 2021 was not without its obstacles, it’s the stories of kindness, generosity, and resilience that shine the brightest in my memory.

Over the summer, as wildfires tore through California and Nevada, our community jumped into action to assist affected pets and people. We took in cats and dogs as shelters evacuated their buildings, and collected crate donations for fire evacuees.

In December, we reopened our adoption center to the public, giving us the joy of making loving matches in-person again!

In 2022, we look forward to expanding our life-saving programs, including our affordable spay/neuter clinics and Todd’s Medical Fund. We’ll also be introducing a new life-saving program: our Trap, Neuter, Return program for community cats!

Team work makes the dream work, and we couldn’t do all this without your support. Thanks to our amazing community, we are giving pets (and their people) the support they deserve.
