Meet Rebecca

Rebecca started her volunteer journey last January and has already logged over 450 hours since then. She is an extremely dedicated volunteer and willing to take on any task. As a retiree she could be spending her days at the spa, but she chooses to roll up her sleeves early in the morning to scrub floors, wash dishes, and help complete animal care chores with the SPCA staff. 

Rebecca is a well known cat whisperer – before she starts work in the mornings she makes sure to greet every cat and give them a snuggle or two. The SPCA staff appreciates her so much and miss her presence when she can’t make it in. During adoption events, Rebecca’s help and her knowledge of the animals’ personalities helps put cats and dogs into the loving homes they deserve. She goes above and beyond as a volunteer and is so loved and appreciated by everyone here at the SPCA.
