Dedicated and loyal – like a dog. Maker of rain.
Sean spent many years in the financial services sector before entering the non-profit world. Over the last 20 years he has overseen the fundraising and marketing for organizational missions as diverse as youth development through sports, climate change and alternative energy, domestic violence and sexual assault, and at an independent school.
He joined the SPCA of Northern Nevada in 2015, and quickly grew to appreciate not only the mission, but also the challenges and intricacies of the animal welfare sector. Married to Kate, a middle school art teacher, with three teenage boys at home along with four standard poodles, and eighteen chickens, Sean’s family keeps him busy. He believes working at the SPCA is the best fundraising job in the world. Sean always says you can’t buy love, but you can rescue it.
